Production & Exchange

Students in our Junior High program are charged with the responsibility of running a small business enterprise to learn how to manage real life responsibilities and understand money. Students identify opportunities, create business plans, present their ideas to the groups, plan for financing, decide pricing, design their offer, make their product or service, marketing their offer and sell. They manage the money that they generate and put it towards community needs. This creates a real exposure to adult life and enables students to get grounded in the realities of the economy. This creates great maturity and humility as they approach high school years when they have to choose subjects to study and college interests. .
